Shampoo Bars- How to Use

Our Maine seaweed shampoo bars are small but mighty.  One bar is equal to 2 or 3 bottles of liquid shampoo.  Seaweed can really help calm a dry, itchy scalp and is nourishing to all hair types.  It doesn't take long to adjust to using our shampoo bars and you will love decluttering your shower and recycle bin.

How to use:

1. Get your hair wet.
2. Lather your shampoo bar.  You can create all the lather you need in your hands or you can run the bar three or four times over the length of your hair.
3. Distribute the suds.  Rub the lather all through your hair and make sure to massage into your scalp.  Seaweed is great for dry flaky skin and will keep your scalp happy.
4. rinse.
5. Optional but highly recommended- Lightly spray your hair with diluted Apple Cider Vinegar (check out our Concentrated Herbal Vinegar Rinse).  Think of this step as the "conditioner stage" of your shower routine.  
6. Rinse the vinegar out and enjoy your day.
