This bug balm works like a charm! I have successfully used it with both blackflies and mosquitos. They buzz up but then buzz away, unable or unwilling to land and do their damage. The fact that it is a balm and not a spray is an added bonus because I can apply it exactly where I need it without getting oily sticky hands from first having to spray my hands and then smear it on my face. Instead I can swipe a little from the can and apply it in my ears and around my eyes with no worries about drips or overspray. And because I know the ingredients are natural I don't worry about putting it on the sensitive skin around my eyes. Every day I don it before my dog walks and I can walk with no worries of bites.
