This is the seaweed that grab for pretty much every dish I make. Two types of Maine seaweed are ground together: Sugar Kelp (my favorite seaweed to eat) and Winged Kelp or Alaria. It adds a burst of ocean flavor without overpowering your food with seaweed, thanks to the sweet taste of sugar kelp. Any recipe that calls for salt, substitute Table Kelp. Add it to baked goods, sweet or savory because this is a seasoning that is incredibly versatile. Check out our Lobster and Garden Greens Lasagna and Scallion Pancake recipes both of which use Table Kelp instead of salt.
Grown and produced by Springtide Seaweed right down the road in Gouldsboro Maine. Packaged in a 2.5 oz glass bottle.
